Centurion has developed a sensor technology , CSSI (Centurion Systems Sensor Interface). This ‘smart’ sensor consists of an embeded micro computer for each sensor. This enables us to create very flexible systems which are very easy to install and maintain.
We have combined not only an imbedded micro computer but also all necessary logic and signal conditioning onto a small footprint circuit board that only requires a few low current power supplies and a motor controller to complete the entire interface to a scanning sensor package.
The computer I/O is sufficient to handle up to 4 sensors and any other process parameters (such as line speed) as are needed.
This data is then transmitted by TCP/IP to an operators display station which is a standard dual or quad core PC running Windows and Centurion’s proprietary Win-CapTM control software.
